The Family Day Care Summit - Play and Programming will kick off on Wednesday, the 5th of June, through to Friday, the 7th of June.

This online summit is about empowering and inspiring educators to deepen their understanding of Play and Programming - to enhance thier knowledge, confidence and understanding of the children in their family day care service.

I’ve created this page so you can find all the information you need and make your experience as a guest speaker as enjoyable and seamless as possible.

How it all works

Here is a quick rundown:

  • The FDC Summit will kick off Thursday the 5th of June 2024 and will run through to Friday the 7th of June. This 3 day event will consist of pre recorded guest presentations delivered daily, over the 3 days. 
  • Each presentation will be presented as an interview which you will record with Victoria. You will also have the opportunity to promote your business, services and offers, if applicable, during this interview. You would have received a link to schedule your interview after you completed the Speaker Registration Form.
  • A Facebook group will be created for all presenters and attendees alike to join in the fun. This will be a space to connect through conversation, ask questions, play fun games, share valuable take aways and support the community of attendees through interaction.
  • Each day at 9am we will share a post introducing the presenters for that day. At the end of the day, we will host a LIVE Q&A where presenters can answer questions from attendees and interact with the community.
  • In the lead up, we will have a promo folder made available to you to simplify the process. Promo for the event will start 13th May 2024 and this folder will provide you with everything you need - [social media graphics and email copy]
  • Registration for attendees is FREE with access for 24 hours.
  • Attendees will be offered the option to purchase the Extended Access Pass to the presentations for $97 from 13th May 2024 - 8th of June 2024. If they choose to upgrade, they will have access for 12 months.
  • We will provide you with a personalised affiliate link, which we encourage you to share.

Smooth sailing is the theme here - we want to make it easy peasy for all of us.

What I need from you

Step 1 - Register

First up we need the thumbs up that you’re in! This should have already happened via email.

You have been sent a Speaker Registration link. This is where you will upload:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Bio
  • Topic Name
  • Headshot
  • 3 x questions you’d like us to ask you
  • 3 x main points you’d like to cover
  • Promo info
  • Your PayPal

Step 2 - Schedule

Once you have submitted the Speaker Registration link, you will be directed to the booking link to schedule your interview with Victoria.

Interviews will take place from Monday 15th of April - Sunday 21st of April 2024 and Monday the 20th of May till Sunday the 26th of May 2024 with a selection of time options.

Please select a time slot that suits you and schedule. We will send you an email confirming youterview time with a Zoom link. 

Step 3 - Interview Day!

We will send you a reminder 24 hours prior to the interview.

Please log in at the allocated time to the zoom link that was emailed to you.

Set yourself up in a quiet and comfortable space, grab a glass of water and get ready to share with us your knowledge and insights!

This will be video recorded.

Step 4 - Promo

Promotion will start 13th of May 2024

We will provide you with all the promo materials you might need - social media tiles, captions and email

Alongside your promo, we encourage you to use your personalised affiliate links too.

Step 5 - It’s Summit Season!

A Facebook group will be created for all presenters and attendees alike to join in the fun. This will be a space to connect through conversation, ask questions, play fun games, share valuable take aways and support the community of attendees through interaction.

Each day at 9am we will share a post introducing the presenters for that day. At the end of the day, we will host a LIVE Q&A where presenters can answer questions from attendees and interact with the community.

Attending the LIVE Q&A on the day of your presentation is optional, however we’d love to see you there live! It really gives you space to share your expertise and create a deeper connection within the community.

Step 6 - Post Summit Vibes

The Summit will finish on Friday the 7th of May 2024. All participants will have access for 24 hours after  to watch the presentations.

Attendees will have the chance to upgrade to unlock access for 12 months for $97 - this offer will expire Saturday the 8th of June at 11.59pm AEST.

Affiliate links will also expire Saturday the 8th of June at  11.59pm AEST.

Now, back to easy peasy... 

Inside the promo folder you can expect to find:

  • Summit Branding graphics - you can add this to your “featured on” website and socials

Affiliate Kit

We value and appreciate your contribution to the FDC Virtual Summit - we appreciate your generosity in sharing your skills, knowledge and expertise at the summit, which we know will be supporting the FDC community as a whole.

We want to offer you a personalised affiliate link that will allow you to earn 30% from every purchased ticket through your personalised link.

We will email you your personalised link so you can distribute it with all your promo. It is a good idea to disclose that you are an affiliate when sharing with your audience.

We will provide you with all promo, however please feel free to personalise your own copy and promote it within your circles, social media, email lists or even run facebook ads. 

Affiliate payouts will be made by Sunday 23rd June into your PayPal account which you have provided upon registration.

You can start using your affiliate link when promotion starts on 13th of May 2024.

Affiliate links will expire Saturday the 8th June 2024 11.59pm AEST when the cart closes.
